An Introduction
Hi! My name is Mina and I've been creating digital images using Photoshop for many years. I began my journeys working in the education system after graduating from high school in 2001. The work that you will find on this site is a merging of my creative arts background and my experiences and training in K-12 and early childhood education.
While some of the art you'll see here represents the best I've seen of the educational profession, some of it also comes from encounters that have turned me inside out and back again trying to envision better ways to ensure equity and healthy growth for all children and the adults who dedicate their lives to working with them.
What I propose here may be very similar to or different from the way you view things. In creating and putting this body of work out into the world I am not asserting that these are the only ways or necessarily the best ways to go about things, merely that they seem the most proactive and engaging ways to me at the moment I'm creating a piece of art.
If your views differ from mine I'd be interested in hearing them and where they've come from. I seek engagement in ideas to help generate solutions to the many challenges that are faced within and around the education system. With time and experience I have found that since each person views things from a different perspective, it's only when we combine visions that a complete picture of the problems and holistic view of possible solutions can be created.
